Geysers Solar Powered WiFi Relay
Revisit with a new approach
I built a 24 volt DC power system and will make it a standard at every site.
Well the power plant Fitzgerald Lane, Occidently was not completed. Not even close. I’ve decided to completely change my approach. I will be making everything a native 24 volt power system. No converting PG&E power to 12 volts, then to 24 volts via a triditional battery backup system. Instead it will be all 24 volts. PG&E’s job will just be charging the 24 volt battery bank. Less is more.
The Grandstream GBX20 Extension Module really made a difference! 👍
Being able to see the incoming caller ID of other team members can provide a huge enhancement to your customer service.
Happy Monday.
I’ll be upgrading the power system for another internet relay at the end of Fitzpatrick Lane, Occidental. Since we are held to a higher standard than PG&E, I’ll be making this one be able to withstand lengthy outages.
Also, I’ll be receiving this goody today:
This attaches to the Grandstream GXV3450 videophone. Bennett Valley Telecom has been a proud Grandstream dealer for nearly 20 years. I’m looking forward to testing this add-on module to my GXV3450 videophone. I’ll share the unboxing and installation with you.
