Went to Castle Rock for a quick fix 👍
Today’s agenda
Looks like a quick stop at Castlerock Tower.
Then to Burnside Road Tower to work on the onsite WiFi mesh system. There’s a unique back-story to all this. I’m guessing this will be about 3 hours.
Then after that I’ll be heading to cobbwines.com / Cobb Vineyards to complete a new battery backup system. The backup power for this internet relay needs to be completely revamped. We have a not-fun-winter coming in just a few short weeks. At the end of the day, back to the office to fill out a couple journal notes. Then…. Call it a day!

Solar Controller Replacement
This always makes me a little nervous. Nearly 800 Volts DC coming from 120 panels. This solar controller, from Electro Industries / GaugeTech, has a web management element to allow you to look at historical power generation data. Also has a WiFi antenna to allow you to read data without internet access. Cool stuff.

After working with the nest of wires and power supplies I later completely organized that data center.
